What safety features do you have in place?

We have invested in the latest biometric entry system, CCTV, coded locks in all classrooms, video intercom and high secure fencing  to keep your children safe. Underfloor heating in all rooms means no hot radiators or nasty radiator covers.  All our wonderful furniture from Community Playthings has smooth, rounded edges to avoid the risks posed by hard corners.  In addition, all of our staff receive safeguarding training on a regular basis.

Are your staff first aid trained?

How do you support children who speak English as a second language?

A number of our children speak English as a second language.  We work closely with parents and carers  to form a partnership and put strategies in place to best support your child. We encourage parents to share us with us key words in the child's home language and we introduce songs and other aspects of home culture wherever possible. This can include the introduction of picture cards followed by tailored steps for your child as an individual.

Which schools do you feed in to?

We feed into a wide range of local State and Independent Schools around the area.

How do I find out what my child has done  every day?

At the end of everyday we will update you with what your little one has been getting up to. In addition to this, we use a secure online learning journal where we share photographs and videos with you. By developing a strong parent partnership we can work together to provide the best possible opportunities for your child, click here to find out more about how we track your child's learning.
