Our Food

At Footsteps we understand the importance of good nutrition, and the impact it can have on a child's development. Our full day care package includes breakfast, lunch, tea and two healthy snacks.

 

We provide tasty and nutritious nursery meals, bursting with fresh fruit and vegetables and all the essential ingredients necessary for healthy physical and mental development.

 

We have a flexible approach and are happy to cater for a whole range of dietary requirements including:-

• Vegan

• Dairy Free

• Gluten Free

• Jain (no meat, fish, garlic, onions, eggs, gluten)

• Weaning Foods

Breakfast is choice of cereal followed by toast or crumpets, we serve breakfast until 8.30 am. Please see our sample menu below to get a taste of what we serve for lunch and tea, which are served from 11.30am and 3.45pm, respectively. At 10am and 2pm children will also be offered snacks.

In line with our policy in managing allergies, we do not permit food being brought into the nursery.
